PlayGuard is the playground safety surface of choice for children with aging and new playgrounds. PlayGuard® 24" x 24" playground tiles by Ecore International® are designed to reduce the risk of serious injury associated with falls from playground equipment. Made from 100% recycled rubber, Choose from 15 PlayGuard Ultra designs. PlayGuard Ultra features a patented, 3mm top wear layer laminated to a 2 ½" pigmented base to ensure reliable impact protection and consistent color. PlayGuard products meet ASTM and CPSC standards, are ADA compliant and IPEMA certified.

	PlayGuard^® Ultra by Ecore International.^® boasts a patented, 3mm EPDM wear layer that lends itself to limitless design possibilities with 15 color choices—the most color choices in the playground tile industry. This wear layer is 20% higher in density than other premanufactured tiles or poured-in-place surfacing contributing to its unrivaled durability. It provides greater UV and fade resistance compared to other EPDM playground surfaces. And is factory molded to ensure reliable impact protection and consistent color. Meets 6’ critical fall height per ASTM F1292-04 and is IPEMA certified.

PlayGuard can be installed using a variety of installation methods. The most common and secure method is full adhesion of tiles and accessories to the substrates using PlayGrip™, an easy-to-use one part polyurethane adhesive. PlayGrip's coverage is approximately 60 sq/ft on concrete, 50 sq/ft on asphalt and 45 sq/ft on protective fabric (1/8" square notched trowel) and is available in 2.5 or 5 gallon pails.

For rooftop and specialty applications, we recommend our exclusive fastening system called Quad Blok™. It offers added stability and ease of installation and maintenance. Tiles are adhered to the Quad Blok connector eliminating any potential damage to the roof membrane. Replacing individual tiles and securing a strong, tight-fitting system is a snap with Quad Blok.

Installation using our Quad Blok system is recommended only for 2 ½" PlayGuard tiles. Additionally, it uses SikaFlex® 227 in 10.3 oz. caulk tubes, at a rate of one tube per ten Quad Blok connectors with a 3/8" bead
